Τραχανάς σούπα με ντομάτα
18 Αυγούστου 2021Trachanas is warm, soothing and incredibly fast and simple. We enjoy it plain or with plenty of trimmed feta.
Ingredients
- 1 cup trahanas sour (or sweet) floured
- 1.200 ml water
- 50 ml olive oil
- 2 dried onions, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, melted
- 200 gr. whole canned tomatoes, finely chopped
- salt, dry oregano
Procedure
Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over high heat and sauté the onions for 2-3 minutes, until soft. Add the garlic and the trachana and continue the sautéing for 1 minute, stirring, so that they are well oiled. Add the tomato, water and salt. When it boils, stir, lower the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the soup boils. Sprinkle the oregano and, if desired, serve with crushed feta.
